PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2020 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Ronning, Commissioners Boucher, Churack, Johnson, Melby, <br /> Sjoblad, and Schweinler <br /> Members Absent: none <br /> Also Present: Dawn Bittner, Zoning Specialist; Mimi Swanson, City Council <br /> Liaison; Katie Wasserman, Pequot Lakes Chamber Director; <br /> Denise Simpson, Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Lions Club President <br /> 1. Call Meetinq to Order <br /> Chair Ronning called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Aqenda <br /> COMMISSIONER CHURACK MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS <br /> AMENDED. COMMISSIONER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 9, 2020, <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES AS READ. COMMISSIONER SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 4. Bicvcle Repair Rack— Chamber Request <br /> Ms. Simpson stated the Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Lions Club has raised money <br /> to purchase and install a bicycle repair rack at the Pequot Lakes Chamber <br /> building. Ms. Simpson stated the install and upkeep will be all provided by the <br /> Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Lions Club. Ms. Wasserman and Ms. Simpson gave <br /> an overview of where the station would be, how it needs to be installed and when <br /> the installation will be held. <br /> Ms. Simpson asked the Park Commission for approval to install at this location. <br /> Ms. Bittner stated that the Public Works Director has approved this location. <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE INSTALLATION OF <br /> THE BICYCLE REPAIR RACK IN THE SOUTH TRAILSIDE PARK NEAR THE <br /> CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BUILDING WHERE INDICATED ON MAP. <br />
