Safe and Sober Resolution <br />Chief Braam requested the Council to consider adoption of a resolution <br />entering into a Safe and Sober agreement with the Minnesota Office of <br />Traffic Safety. He noted that the Brainerd Police Department would <br />administer the grant. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 09 -13 <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE SAFE AND <br />SOBER AGREEMENT. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9. Public Works Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />9.1. Water/Wastewater Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />�- 9.2. Request to Gravel Meyers Road <br />Mike Loven stated that Loon Lake Township has requested the City of <br />Pequot Lakes to cost share in the graveling of one mile of Meyers Road. <br />Two bids were received with Swenson Aggregate and Construction being <br />the low bidder at $13,991.25. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO SPLIT THE COST TO <br />GRAVEL ONE MILE OF MEYERS ROAD WITH LOON LAKE <br />TOWNSHIP, USING THE LOWEST BID. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />10. City Engineer <br />10.1. Update on Project Priority List —Verbal Update <br />Tim Houle noted that May 1st was the deadline to submit projects to <br />MPCA and MDH to put on the project priority list (PPL). He stated that he <br />has met with staff to put together a capital improvement plan. Water and <br />sanitary sewer replacements were defined from the Capital Improvement <br />Plan and were placed on the project priority lists. <br />�, 10.2.
