January 28, 202o WIDSETH <br /> Proposal for Rasmussen and South Washington Construction Phase SMITH <br /> City of Pequot Lakes <br /> Page 2 , NOLTING <br /> 11.Answer questions from the Contractor, and construction observer. <br /> 12. Coordinate with the material and field testing geotechnical firm hired by the City. <br /> 13.Work with the Contractor on draft payment applications, prepare final monthly payment <br /> applications for the City Council to consider, and transmit all necessary related paperwork <br /> between the City and the Contractor. <br /> 14. Conduct a walk-through with the City and the Contractor towards the completion of the <br /> project, and prepare a "punch list" of items the Contractor still needs to complete. <br /> 15.Address with the Contractor the various paperwork items to close out the construction <br /> Contract. <br /> 16. Conduct"As-Built" survey and prepare drawings. <br /> Schedule <br /> We have not received a schedule from the apparent low bid Contractor, so the start date of our <br /> services along with the length of our services is an estimate at this time. <br /> The construction Contract Documents indicate construction needs to be substantially complete <br /> by October 16"', 2020. <br /> Fee <br /> Our fee is based on the above tasks. <br /> Note that the level and costs of our services is very dependent on the performance of the <br /> Contractor, and to some degree, on weather and other factors outside of our control. <br /> We propose to perForm the above tasks on an hourly basis, in accordance with the attached fee <br /> schedule, for an estimated amount of a168,000. <br /> If we need to provide services other than those listed above, or if we need to spend more time <br /> with the Contractor than we originally anticipated, we will review such situations with the City <br /> staff and then with the City Council. <br /> We plan on being at your February 4th City Council meeting to answer questions. <br /> If you are in agreement with our proposed scope of services, please sign and return one copy of <br /> this letter for our records.
