City Council Minutes <br />April 7, 2009 <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />indicated that WSN has provided an estimate for the proposed solution. <br />Mr. Houle informed the Council that a letter will be sent to the developer <br />stating that the problem must be repaired by the end of June. Tim Houle <br />noted that this issue falls under the warranty correction period. <br />10.5. Update on Possible Funding of Projects <br />Tim Houle updated the Council on stimulus funding that may be available <br />for small cities. He noted that the City should get some projects listed on <br />the Project Priority Lists by May 1St which is the deadline. He indicated he <br />would be working with staff on this issue. <br />11. Clerk's Report <br />Report accepted by Council. <br />11.1. Cole Memorial Building Use <br />The Clerk reported that a committee has been meeting for the past few <br />months to study the possibility of opening up the Cole Memorial Building <br />for use by the public. She reviewed the draft use agreement. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO ADOPT THE COLE MEMORIAL <br />BUILDING USE AGREEMENT. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />11.2. Peguot Lakes Historical Society Lease— Lease of Cole Building <br />The Clerk explained that the Council had approved this lease in November <br />of 2008. The Historical Society has requested some minor amendments <br />which have been made by the City Attorney. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDED <br />LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES AND <br />THE PEQUOT LAKES HISTORICAL SOCIETY. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />11.3. Travel Expense Policy <br />The City Clerk informed the Council that following discussion of the travel <br />expense policy with Council Member Ryan, she is recommending an <br />amendment to the policy. The amendment would allow employees to use <br />their personal vehicles for city related travel for unusual circumstances, if <br />authorized by a Council liaison or Department Head.
