AGENDA ITEM # 9.1 <br /> ct�y of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes _ - <br /> REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Jason Gorr — Public Works Director <br /> Date: December 3, 2019 <br /> Subiect: Resolution of Cooperation for Roadway Improvements <br /> Report: Nancy Malecha, Tim Houle, and I met with representatives from the <br /> City of Breezy Point, Ideal Township, and Jenkins Township to discuss roadway <br /> improvement needs for interconnected roads consisting of Akerson Road, <br /> Buschmann Road, Nelson Road, and Wild Acres Road. Improvement needs and <br /> plans were discussed and all parties involved agreed that the attached Resolution of <br /> Cooperation for Roadway Improvements would help to continue this conversation <br /> with Crow Wing County. The goal is to better coordinate and potentially leverage <br /> the local entities' funding sourcing with possible County and State funding <br /> sources. <br /> Council Action Requested: Council motion adopting the resolution of <br /> cooperation with the cities of Pequot Lakes and Breezy Point and the townships of <br /> Ideal and Jenkins for improvements to Akerson Road, Buschmann Road, Nelson <br /> Road, and Wild Acres Road all within Crow Wing County and coordinate a joint <br /> meeting with Crow Wing County to review options for designing and constructing <br /> roadway improvements, funding of improvements, and maintaining these <br /> roadways. <br />
