Park Commission Appointment <br />The City Clerk indicated that the Park Commission received two <br />applications for one Park Commission appointment. She indicated that the <br />Park Commission has recommended that Pete Clement be appointed to <br />the Commission. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO APPOINT PETE CLEMENT <br />TO THE PARK COMMISSION FOR A THREE YEAR TERM TO EXPIRE <br />ON DECEMBER 31, 2011. MAYOR ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 3 -0. <br />11.2. Theater Seats <br />The City Clerk stated that the City has received a request to donate the <br />theater seats to the Pequot Lakes Area Historical Society. <br />`-- COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO DONATE THE OLD <br />THEATER SEATS TO THE PEQUOT LAKES AREA HISTORICAL <br />SOCIETY. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 3 -0. <br />11.3. Board of Appeal <br />The City Clerk informed the Council that the County Assessor has <br />scheduled the Board of Appeal meeting for Pequot Lakes for May 7th at <br />10:00 a.m. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL <br />MEETING FOR THE BOARD OF APPEAL ON MAY 7, 2009, AT 10:00 <br />A.M. TO BE HELD AT PEQUOT LAKES CITY HALL. MAYOR ADAMS <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3 -0. <br />11.4. Special Meeting for Highway 371 Corridor Review <br />The City Clerk explained that the Highway 371 committee has suggested <br />a special meeting of the Council to review the alternate route corridor. It <br />was the consensus of the Council that April 14th is the first choice and <br />April 21St the second choice. The Clerk indicated she would check with all <br />Council Members regarding the dates. <br />
