RECREATION FIELD OR FACILITY. An area of land or any building in which <br /> amusement, recreation, or athletic sports are provided for public or semi-public <br /> use,whether temporary or permanent and whether provision is made for the <br /> accommodation of an assembly or not. <br /> Temporary Commercial Structure/Use: A Structure of a temporary character <br /> including but not limited to sell food, services or retail. <br /> Temporary Commercial structures/uses within the "Commercial" and <br /> "Downtown Mixed Use" Districts may be allowed by an interim use permit with <br /> appropriate conditions to ensure the health safety and welfare of the public. <br /> The following requirements will apply to all temporary commercial <br /> structures/uses within the "Commercial"and"Downtown Mix Use" Districts: <br /> i. Temporary commercial structures/uses shall not be permitted in the public <br /> realm including but not limited to public sidewalks, public streets, parks, right of <br /> way and parking spaces. <br /> 2.An interim use permit may be granted with appropriate conditions for <br /> temporary commercial structures on private property. <br /> 3.Adequate measures to control power, noise and waste shall be provided.A copy <br /> of an electrical inspection stating the power source is state electric code <br /> compliant shall be provided to the City. <br /> 4. Temporary Commercial structures/uses that include food handling shall <br /> provide the City with a copy of all required permits, inspections and or licenses <br /> from the State Health Department and or other applicable state agencies. <br /> 5. Temporary commercial structures must comply with City of Pequot Lakes sign <br /> regulations including off-site advertising signs. <br /> 6. The Planning Commission may restrict temporary commercial structures/uses <br /> to ensure the preservation of the unique small town character of the City of <br /> Pequot Lakes. <br /> �.All temporary commercial structures shall be removed from the properry once <br /> the interim use permit expires. <br /> The new uses have been added to the HOTGL Matrix.
