Water Dept. <br /> Facilitv Performance for July 2019: <br /> Flow <br /> Average daily gallons pumped: 115,000 gallons <br /> Maximum daily gallons pumped: 146,000 gallons <br /> Minimum daily gallons pumped: 79,000 gallons <br /> Total monthly gallons pumped: 3,456,000 gallons <br /> Lab <br /> Average daily chlorine concentration: 0.32 (mg/1) <br /> *Recommended chlorine concentration: 0.2 to 0.5 mg/1 <br /> Average daily fluoride concentration: 0.52 (mg/1) <br /> *Recommended fluoride concentration: 0.5 mg/1 to 0.9 mg/1 <br /> Wastewater Dept. <br /> Facility Performance for July 2019: <br /> Flow <br /> Average Daily Flow: 61,464 gallons (Design— 121,795 gaUday) <br /> Maximum Daily Flow: 67,998 gallons <br /> Minimum Daily Flow: 51,107 gallons <br /> Total Monthly Flow: 1,905,371 gallons <br /> Operations Report <br /> 1) Water treatment facility inspections were completed daily. <br /> 2) Wastewater facility and lift station checks were done every Monday, Wednesday, and <br /> Friday. <br /> 3) Monthly lift station maintenance (check amps, clean floats, inspect wet well, etc) was <br /> completed on 8/21. <br /> 4) Weekly water testing was completed. <br /> 5) Water meters were read on 8/22. <br /> 6) Monthly fluoride report was submitted to Minnesota Department of Health on 8/1. <br /> 7) Monthly Discharge Monitoring Report for the WWTP was submitted to MPCA on 8/1. <br /> 8) MN Pumpworks performed annual inspections at all the City's duplex lift stations in <br /> mid-August. They also pulled an irrigation pump for repair. <br /> 9) Jake Freeman exercised all the isolation gate valves on the City's water distribution <br /> system. We do this once a year to make sure valves are accessible and working <br /> properly. <br /> 10)Wastewater pond dikes were sprayed with herbicide for weed control. <br /> 11)A sewer backup was located near Oriole Street while doing daily manhole inspections <br /> on Sunday, August 25�'. We were able to clear the blockage with the City's sewer jetter <br /> and get the line flowing again before any residences were affected. <br /> 12)PRASD operators have begun annual jetting of the gravity sewer lines on the City's <br /> wastewater collection system.
