City Council Minutes <br />February 3, 2009 <br />Page 8of11 <br />1%1.1 ----------------------- - - - - -- <br />THREE CONSECUTIVE TERMS OF THREE YEARS EXCEPT FOR HRA <br />WHICH IS FIVE YEAR TERMS WITH THE FOLLOWING STIPULATION: <br />1. A BOARD OR COMMISSION MEMBER WHO HAS SERVED <br />THREE CONSECUTIVE TERMS MAY REAPPLY IF THERE ARE NO <br />OTHER APPLICANTS FOR THE POSITION. <br />2. A PARTIAL TERM IS NOT CONSIDERED ONE OF THE THREE <br />CONSECUTIVE TERMS. <br />3. A BOARD OR COMMISSION MEMBER WHO HAS SERVED <br />THREE CONSECUTIVE TERMS MAY REAPPLY IF THE MEMBER HAS <br />BEEN OFF OF THE BOARD OR COMMISSION FOR AT LEAST ONE <br />YEAR. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5 -0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO ACCEPT COUNCIL <br />PROCEDURES AS AMENDED. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9.3. BLADC Agreement for 2009 <br />The City Clerk presented the 2009 BLADC Agreement. She noted that the <br />EDC has recommended that the Council approve the agreement. She also <br />noted that the contract reflects a $225 increase from 2008. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ADOPT THE 2009 BLADC <br />AGREEMENT. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. <br />Council Member Ryan suggested that the contract be reduced to the 2008 <br />rates. The Council discussed this but took no action. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9.4. Public Works Supervisor <br />The City Clerk explained that the Job Evaluation Committee has made a <br />recommendation to the Council regarding the Public Works Supervisor <br />position as requested by the City Council. <br />`-' COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED THE FOLLOWING: <br />
