MINUTES <br />PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING WORKSHOP <br />JANUARY 13, 2009 <br />Members Present: Mayor Adams, Council Members Nagel, Malecha, Sjoblad, and <br />Ryan (Council Member Ryan arrived at 6:25 p.m.) <br />Staff Present: Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Dawn Bittner, Zoning Administrator; Mike <br />Loven, Public Works Supervisor; and Tim Houle, City Engineer <br />ALSO PRESENT: Tom Adams, Planning Commission Liaison <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Adams. <br />1. 1. Pledge of Allegiance <br />Mayor Adams led the meeting with the pledge of allegiance. <br />2. Payment of Bills <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO PAY THE BILLS AS <br />PRESENTED. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 4 -0. <br />3. Infrastructure Workshop <br />Tim Houle provided an outline of the topics to be discussed. <br />I. WATER SYSTEM <br />II. WASTEWATER SYSTEM <br />III. ROADWAY SYSTEM <br />IV. STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM <br />V. STEPS IN A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />VI. POLICY WITH DEVELOPERS <br />Tim Houle addressed several aspects that the City should be considering with each of <br />the above topics. The Council discussed the need to begin planning for the future. Mr. <br />Houle suggested items to be considered in the planning process such as mapping and <br />
