WSN is proud to employ about 60 people in Crow Wing <br /> County-some of whom reside in Pequot Lakes-and to reinvest in the communities we serve. <br /> In 2009,we will continue to attend your monthly Council meetings and answer miscellaneous <br /> questions from City Council Members and City Staff at no cost to the City(this amounted to a <br /> number of hours in un-billed time and services to the City in 2006,which we will calculate for <br /> `.• you if requested;in the past,it has been in the thousands of dollars). When a specific project is <br /> defined,we will provide you a proposal with our tasks and costs. <br /> Following is a summary of a few of the projects we worked on with the City this past year,as <br /> well as future projects for 2009: <br /> • TH 371 <br /> We will continue to assist the City in working through all the issues (safety, service roads, <br /> city utilities,cost-sharing, etc.)associated with MnDOT's proposed TH 371 <br /> improvements. Planning now will pay future dividends for the City's residents and its <br /> visitors. <br /> • South Oak Street Corridor Improvements <br /> As part of the process started several years-ago by the City,we will continue to work <br /> toward engineering solutions for the phased reconstruction of this locally important north- <br /> south corridor in the City. <br /> • Various Assistance to P&Z and the EDC <br /> When requested,we have provided input and feedback to P&Z and the EDC.
