Facility Performance:
Average daily gallons pumped:
71,000 gallons
Maximum daily gallons pumped:
110,000 gallons
Minimum daily gallons pumped:
49,000 gallons
Total monthly gallons pumped:
2,125,000 gallons
Average daily chlorine concentration: 0.3 mg/1
Required chlorine concentration: 0.2 to 0.5 mg/1
Average daily fluoride concentration: 1.1 mg/l
Required fluoride concentration: 0.9 mg/l to 1.5 mg/l
Treatment Chemicals Used for the Month: 20.0 lbs Chlorine
`, 7.8 gals Fluoride
5.5 lbs Potassium Permanganate
II. Operations and Maintenance:
• The MN Department of Health Monthly Fluoridation Report was completed and
submitted.
• Delivered 11 delinquent water /sewer bill notices.
• Nov. 18`h, Larry and Shane with TC Pump Technologies, replaced the check -valve on
High Service Pump #1 at WTP.
• Nov. 23`d, flagged necessary fire hydrants.
• Picked up a Commercial Driver's Manual to study for a Class B Commercial Driver's
License with Tanker and Air -Brake Endorsements, per Mike Loven's request.
• In the month of October, Earl Hemmerich (Owner of Pequot Terrace Mobile Home
Park) became aware of more broken water lines. He promptly hired Stumvoll
Excavating to dig, locate, and repair these lines. Unfortunately, a lot of water was lost,
prior to these repairs. Like always, he will be charged for all of this water. He's hoping
that he doesn't have to pay for additional sewer charges, considering the fact that this
large amount of water never made it into the City's sanitary sewer system, it went into
the ground. Mr. Hemmerich will be attending our Council Meeting.
• I have been talking with Tom Ryan (my liaison) about my position in the Water /WW
Dept. and would like Council to consider changing my title from Water/WW Operator
to Water /WW Supervisor. I feel that this title more accurately reflects what I do for the
Department. I understand the "extra" responsibilities I will have with this title and I am
very confident I can handle all that this will involve. I would appreciate your support.
