TRAILSIDE PARK FEATURES <br /> Flag display <br /> 58 flags along Main and Patriot Streets <br /> 8'-10' apart <br /> Bump Outs at intersections. Art work,planters, etc, <br /> Banners across the street at north and south Patriot Avenue entrances <br /> Sidewalks: 8' width minimum along flag walk areas <br /> Parking: Parking along both sides of Patriot Avenue with some long vehicle parking. <br /> Splashpad: Located near playground and designed to be added on. (Shape and size to <br /> be determined) <br /> Walking path: Reshape at the southeast corner; add new walkway from Patriot to <br /> existing pathway. Improve lighting. <br /> Crosswalk: Greatly enhance safety between Bobber Park and Trailside Park. <br /> Main pedestrian crossing area. Could include artwork,planters, seating, etc. <br /> Main Street and Patriot Avenue intersection: Options: turn into 4 way stop. 2 way <br /> stop. Sma11 round-about. Artwork and graphics. Planters. etc. <br /> Improve Patriot Avenue safety by narrowing the traffic corridor and grea.tly reducing <br /> speed(currently 35mph), discourage large truck traffic by design, and add pedestrian <br /> crosswalks. Adding parking spaces along Patriot through the Park would also reduce <br /> park parking along Government allowing for more business parking. <br />
