City Council Minutes <br /> March 5, 2019 <br /> Page6of12 <br /> ----------------------------- <br /> Council Member Pederson questioned if the Public Works Department will <br /> host a community open house for the Public Works Facility. <br /> Jason Gorr stated this would be a good idea and would like to coordinate <br /> it with an existing community event. He further noted the timing of this <br /> may be better in the late summer or fall when the seeding and <br /> landscaping have taken place. <br /> A consensus of the Council agreed that a Public Works Facility <br /> Community Open House should be coordinated by the Public Works <br /> Department after seeding and landscaping have occurred. <br /> 9.1.A. Public Works Facilitv Update <br /> Tim Houle updated the Council on the following regarding the Public <br /> Works Facility Project. <br /> • Inside punch list items. <br /> • $6,500 credit for finishing the Project after the contract's substantial <br /> completion date. <br /> • Outside punch list items and seeding. <br /> 9.1.B. Public Works Facilitv Proiect Pavment Certificates <br /> Tim Houle reviewed the Application and Certificate for Payment#8 from <br /> Boser Construction Inc. Mr. Houle explained this is for plumbing work <br /> performed minus the 5% retainage. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO APPROVE APPLICATION <br /> AND PAYMENT CERTIFICATE #8 FROM BOSER CONSTRUCTION <br /> INC. FOR$4,750. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 40. <br /> Mr. Houle reviewed the Application and Certificate for Payment#9 from <br /> Boser Construction Inc. Mr. Houle explained this is for a partial retainage <br /> release. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> APPLICATION AND PAYMENT CERTIFICATE #9 FROM BOSER <br /> CONSTRUCTION INC. FOR $27,429.36. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.2. Traffic Studv <br />
