City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes= -- <br /> February 2019 Public Works Report <br /> Buildings• <br /> -Routine maintenance and cleaning on all City Buildings <br /> - Office furniture moved, door repaired,paper products restocked at City Hall <br /> -Chamber Counter Sensor Repair, Door Maintenance <br /> -Routine maintenance of oil disposal azea &bin including multiple snow removals <br /> -Follow-up with WSN on Punchlist building items on new shop <br /> -Worked with Boser on remaining items at the new PW Building <br /> - Several ice and snow events kept us very busy on snow/ice removal at walks,doors, etc. all month <br /> Streets• <br /> -Multiple snow and ice events kept us busy all month <br /> -Twice we removed snow piles downtown, on Main, Library, and elsewhere with City Equipment and <br /> had to dedicate 2 days towazds hauling snow piles off streets/lots (60-80 dump truck loads each da.y) <br /> -Fielded and responded to a few complaints on drifting streets and unshoveled(private walks) <br /> - Responded appropriately to 2 separate mailbox damage calls(both on non-compliant mounts/heights) <br /> -Ongoing maintenance and repairs on heavily worked equipment(greasing, oil changes, electrical <br /> short) <br /> -Walks and business entrances cleaned up several times with skid steer and blower/broom attachments <br /> Parks• <br /> -Routine inspections, snow and trash removal (Dog Park) <br /> Safetv&Training• <br /> - Signed up for multiple training events starting in March(streets, culverts, electrical, &Water/WW <br /> Treatrnent) <br /> - Continued development of internal training&safety training process <br /> -Purchased new(refurbished)AED—Emergency Defibrillator for the PW Shop and mounted on the <br /> wall (full training soon with MMUA) <br /> Other: <br /> - City Message Sign Notifications modified <br /> - Flags maintained as directed <br /> - City wide Hydrant Cleanout day mid-month <br /> Compiled and submitted by Jason Gorr—Pequot Lakes Public Works Director <br /> Please direct questions to: (612)810-9478 or isorrn,neauotlakes-mn.Sov <br />
