Water/Wastewater Report <br />November 2011 <br />Water Dept. <br />I. Facility Performance: <br />Average daily gallons pumped: <br />50,000 gallons <br />Maximum daily gallons pumped: <br />51,000 gallons <br />Minimum daily gallons pumped: <br />41,000 gallons <br />Total monthly gallons pumped: <br />1,563,000 gallons <br />Average daily chlorine concentration: 0.37 mg /l <br />Required chlorine concentration: 0.2 to 0.5 mg/1 <br />*Average daily fluoride concentration: 0.1 mg /1* <br />*Required fluoride concentration: 0.9 mg/l to 1.5 mg /1X <br />*The MDH is currently reviewing the pros and cons of fluoride addition and <br />are looking at lowering the required amount to a range of 0.6 mg /l to 1.0 mg /1* <br />II. Operations and Maintenance: <br />• The MN Department of Health Monthly Fluoridation Report was completed and <br />submitted. <br />• Fluoride pumping system has failed; I have replaced all the parts including a new pump, <br />but no results. I the re- replaced the Check valve in the effluent pipe and it now seams to <br />be working properly. <br />• Completed monthly testing <br />• Completed monthly Water plant maintenance <br />• Read the water meters <br />• Completed all Water service requests. <br />• Started the recycle pump in the base of the Tower. <br />
