CZt�►Of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes! - <br /> January 2019 Public Works Report <br /> Buildings: <br /> -Routine maintenance and cleaning <br /> -Contracted electrical work at City Hall Shop—rezoning for Police/Fire needs <br /> -Contracted elecirical work at PW Shop—work bench outlet,light switch for shop light,220 outlet moved for safer <br /> welding area <br /> -Replaced stand-alone eye wash saline(outdated),met w/Plumber for a plumbed eyewash bid—City Hall Shop <br /> -Routine maintenance of oil disposal area &bin <br /> -Follow-up with WSN on punchlist building items on new shop <br /> -Dealt with extreme cold week issues(-34)—exira building checks,iced up furnace elchaust at PW Shop office <br /> caused temporary failure(clea.red and restarted automarically,in-floor heat kept temp modera.te) <br /> -Several ice and snow events kept us busy on snow/ice removal at walks,doors,etc.all month <br /> Streets: <br /> -Mulriple snow and ice events kept us busy all month <br /> *(12/31 Heavy Snow, 1/7 Extreme Ice, 1/22 6"Snow, 1/28 S.S"Snow) <br /> *Not only do these include removal and salt/sanding the day of, but road maint./snow removal days Zater <br /> -Sign post collisions on both ends of Patriot on separate days(DOT norified we have their signs for p/up) <br /> -Fielded and responded to a couple of'slick roads'norifications <br /> -Responded appropriately to 2 separate mailboa damage calls(offered to fix per ordinance) <br /> -Repaired 2019 Mack Truck—Falls Fab(bump-out curb impact on wing) <br /> -Repaired 2015 Mack Truck—Falls Fab(replace auger motor,interior seal leaking hydro fluid) <br /> -Cleaned full fleet with new pressure washer system(wash curtain system is needed) <br /> -Contracted with Schrupp Excavating to remove significant snow piles downtown(lazger loader/dumps) <br /> -Removed snow piles downtown on Main,Library,and elsewhere with City equipment <br /> Parks: <br /> -Removed Christmas decorations <br /> -Routine inspections,snow and trash removal(Dog Park) <br /> -Prepped area and parking near Trailside Park for Antique Snowmobile Rendezvous <br /> Safety&Training: <br /> -Attended MMUA Monthly Safety Training(Pine River) <br /> -Continued development of internal training&safety training process <br /> -Purchased new First Aid Kits for all PW trucks and new Water/Sewer truck <br /> -Purchased newly refurbished AED—emergency defibrillator for the PW Shop <br /> Other: <br /> -City message sign notifications modified/flags maintained as directed <br /> -Cemetery burials and plot sales(2 burials in January) <br /> Compiled and submitted by: Jason Gorr—Pequot Lakes Public Works Director <br /> Please direct questions to (612)810-9478 or i�orr(�a,pequotlakes-mn.�ov <br />
