There was no second. <br />Loven thought we should go back and check the City policy that addresses the code of <br />ethics. Oaks second Loven's motion. The plan was to table Article 3 for now and study <br />the City's code of ethics policy. <br />Under new business, Loven thought we should put reflective tape on all our tools for the <br />purpose of protecting our gear at mutual aid incidents. Some years ago a plan was utilized <br />for each department to paint their tools for this purpose. Our color was green. The <br />Officers will decide what to do about this. <br />Evenson motioned to adjourn our regular meeting, second by Larson, meeting adjourned. <br />Tasha Carlson and Brian Evenson, serving as our election committee, coordinated the <br />annual election of Offcers. <br />Tom Nelson was nominated for Chief. There were no other nominations. Loven motioned <br />to cast a unanimous ballot to elect Tom. The motion passed and Tom Nelson will <br />continue as Fire Chief. <br />Nominations for First Assistant Chief were Rickard, Casanova, Oaks, Szymanski, and <br />Evenson. Casanova and Oaks declined. Bill Rickard was elected First Assistant Chief. <br />Nominations for Second Assistant Chief were Evenson, Bob Peterson I, Oaks, Casanova, <br />and Szymanski. Peterson declined. Larry Oaks was elected Second Assistant Chief. <br />Nominations for Captain 1 were Evenson, Crist, Schwankl, Nordby, and Szymanski. <br />Brian Evenson was elected Captain 1. <br />Nominations for Captain 2 were Szymanski, Casanova, Schwankl, Nordby, and Crist. <br />Neil Casanova was elected Captain 2. <br />Nominations for Captain 3 were Schwankl, Loven, Nordby, Szymanski, and Crist. <br />Schwankl and Nordby tied for most votes. A flip of a coin elected Daren Nordby Captain <br />3. <br />Nominations for Safety Officer were Szymanski,Tasha Carlson, Selter, Bob Peterson II, <br />Mike Peterson, and Loven. Carlson and Loven declined. Szymanski and Setter tied for <br />the most votes. A flip of a coin elected Szymanski Safety Officer. <br />Bob Peterson I was nominated for Secretary - Treasurer. There were no other nominations. <br />Loven motioned to cast a unanimous ballot.
