Identify potential development opportunities along Patriot Avenue.
• There could be continued commercial development along the south end of
PatriotAuenue.
• When the Business Park is extended to the south, the area along Patriot
Avenue will be targeted for additional commercial development due to its
proximity to the Business Park. Its proximity to the wastewater ponds
will make it more conducive for development. ,
• The Planning Commission does not enuision commercial deuelopment
along north PatriotAvenue due to the limited traffic flow due to the I
realignment. il
• The Grow Zone could be extended along Main Street only to the east,
maintaining a buffer area to adjacent neighborhoods. j
g. Create a city policy establishing when newly constructed roads will be accepted I
by the City for long-term maintenance. The policy should be based on reasonable ,
assurance that the long-term maintenance costs will be sufficiently balanced by
the additional tac revenue generated.
• City Engineer Tim Houle, provided the following:
"This institutzon is an equal opportunity provider and employer."
