Oaerations and Maintenance:
• The monthly MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) was completed and
`- submitted.
• Aug 12th, while doing daily manhole checks, noticed manhole in front of Thurlow's was
backed up, along with the next two manholes. Lance and I jetted from the north end of
Pestello's all the way to Tower Square. Then, from manhole at Pro -Build up to manhole
at Pestello's. Broke up a large chunk of grease in the lines.
• Aug 14th around 8 pm, got called out to PRASD's lift station on Chickamaw Beach
Road. Power outage caused by a fallen tree on power line. Power Company took care of
the problem right away.
• Aug 170, collected pond samples and quarterly influent sample and mailed to NTS.
• Aug 18th around 6 am, got called out to PRASD. Received a couple different alarms due
to a short power failure. Not sure what had caused it.
• Aug 20th around 2:30 am, got called out to PRASD's main lift station. Pulled all three
pumps and removed debris (rags) from the impellers and volutes.
• Also on the 20th, weed - trimmed around ponds and monitoring wells. Started pulling
weeds from pond dikes.
• Aug 24th, had three of our "dirtiest" lift stations thoroughly cleaned by Fyle's and
NorthStar Pump. They removed a lot of grease and sand, a few rocks, and several small
pieces of clay -tile pipe. We really need to have all our sewer mains televised to find
where these pieces are coming from. As well as knowing where all services stub in.
Report Submitted By: Tina Nolden (Water/Wastewater Operator)
Please call me if you have any questions /comments.
218 -568 -5604 or 218 - 820 -2125
