Curb -box was full of sand, Kurt
helped me remove some of the sand and we were able to turn the water off.
• Aug 4th, Sarie's Restaurant called concerned about low water pressure. Pulled meter,
but found nothing plugging it. Plumber cut into water -line after the meter and it was full
of sand. Aug 14th, discovered the water heater also got some sand in it, so the plumber
flushed it out along with all the other lines and the pressure is now back to normal.
Because this occurred so soon after a new water line was installed for the bldg, we took
responsibility for it.
• Aug 5`h, locate meeting with Keith from Anderson Bros. They will be fixing the parking
lot at TDS.
• Aug 11 th, attended MMUA Safety Meeting at East Gull Lake City Hall.
• Also on the 11th, put extensions on three curb -boxes along W. Lake Street.
• Aug 18th, replaced frost plate on meter at 31231 Pine Street.
• Also on the 18th, water plant computer monitor went dark, a second time. I took it in to
Cascade to see if it could be fixed again or if we would need to replace it. Turns out,
they had to order us a new monitor.
