Call Meetin� to Order <br /> Chair Ronning called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider A�enda <br /> COMMISSIONER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE SEPTEMBER 13, <br /> 2018 PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Outdoor Recreation Survev Update <br /> Molly Zins presented an update on the Quality of Life Taskforce (Hike, Bike, Ski <br /> committee) regarding a survey to ascertain how and how often the Pequot Lakes <br /> residents engage in outdoor recreation, identify unmet outdoor recreational <br /> needs, and explore relationships between demographics and information in <br /> outdoor recreational needs. Discussion ensued as to how to get the information <br /> about the survey out to the public as well as how to get the actual survey out to <br /> residents and the benefits of the survey to the community and Park Commission <br /> as a whole. The survey will be emailed to the Park Commission to analyze the <br /> questions. <br /> 5. LED Camera Pricinq <br /> Commissioner Melby was looking into pricing for the camera, however, he is not <br /> at the meeting today so this will be postponed until next month. Chair Ronning <br /> explained to Ms. Malecha the idea for putting cameras in Sibley Lake Park for <br /> surveillance. Ms. Malecha suggested bringing in the Police Department for these <br /> types of conversations because they may have suggestions on which cameras to <br /> use, where to place, etc. <br />
