gregg gerhartz
This is same response I got from Mndot. I sent an email to engineer regarding my concerns. They are
difficult to work with. I will be documenting all crashes at the intersection and cause.
sally sturdevant
Thank you Gregg and all. I'm so worried about my grandsons trying to get on bike path across#371.Why
there isn't a light I can't understand.Visibility from any direction is extremely difficult. I'm so afraid it will
have to be a little family killed to get MnDot's attention. I pray I'm wrong and common sense will prevail.
Sally Sturdevant, Troy, Cohen, Wynter, Lafe, and Arabelia
chuck mackey
I'm appalled with the response we got from the local MNDOT. Compare their response to the
Stop lights and speed limits between here and Baxter. The design is flawed in my opinion and
someone's death will be on their shoulders.
Please express our concerns to MNDOT. Their contact info is in my email.
TULLY DIANE ELDREDGE
Thank you Chuck and Gregg.
Tully and I share disgust with the MNDot response.A simple flashing light to advise drivers that a light is
forthcoming is common in these situations. Sally,we understand and are feaâ–ºfiul as well with our
grandchildren who ride bikes now too. Clearly the planning did not include bikers or pedestrians who like
to go to Nisswa or Pequot. Very sad when we all pay taxes and do everything to support the community
when we are there. Not to mention our aging homeowners who can't move as quickly to get across the
highway yet want to walk the trail.
Would a petition be helpful?
Best,
Diane, Tully, Dawnn and grandchildren Jack and Luke
