A vacant lot on Rasmussen Rd south of the church. <br /> c. Lawn Care Email <br /> Commissioner Hallan stated he received an email from a property owner stating the <br /> lawn care ordinance is too restrictive. <br /> Commissioner Leckband stated the policy is complaint driven. <br /> Commissioner Birch stated he agrees with the email. He sta�ed the ordinance is over- <br /> bearing and it could pit neighbors against each other. <br /> Commissioner Leckband stated he is ok with the ordinance and it may take time for <br /> residents to adjust. He stated there is a misconception on the fines and enforcement. <br /> There is a maximum amount property owners can be fined. He stated that after <br /> Brainerd started enforcing a similar ordinance property owners started taking pride in <br /> their property. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> A motion was made by Planning Coinmission Member Leckband, seconded <br /> by Planning Commission Member Norton,to approve the August i6, 20�8 <br /> Minutes. All members voted"aye".
