Violation a Misdemeanor. Each violation of any term of this section shall constitute a <br /> misdemeanor. Each day that such violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense. <br /> Complaints. All complaints against a short-term vacation rental shall first be directed to <br /> the managing agent or a local contact. If the managing agent or local contact fail to <br /> respond to the complaint, then the complaint shall be addressed to either law <br /> enforcement or Zoning staff. A complaint shall include the type of violation, along with <br /> the date and time it occurred. <br /> a. Any person who makes a false complaint regarding a short-term vacation <br /> rental is guilty of misdemeanor <br /> Enforcement Officials. <br /> The Zoning Administrator and other persqns designated by the City are hereby <br /> designated as the authorized officials to issue municipal civil infractions directing <br /> alleged violators of this Ordinance to appear in �ourt. ' <br /> Civil Action <br /> In addition to enforcing this Ordinance through the use of a municipal civil infraction <br /> proceeding, the City ofi Pequot Lakes may initiate proceedings in the Circuit Court to <br /> abate or eliminate #he nuisance per se or any other vio#ation of this Ordinance. <br /> Validity <br /> If any section, provision or clause of this Ordinance or the application thereof to any <br /> person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect any remaining <br /> portions or application of this Ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid <br /> portion or application. <br />
