<br /> Position Summary:
<br /> To preserve the physical integrity of the City's transportation system of streets, alleys, sidewalks,
<br /> storm sewer, municipal parking lots, parks, cemeteries, buildings, water/wastewater systems and
<br /> all city owned properties through active participation, supervision, and leadership of Public
<br /> Works Department personnel. Work is performed in both inside and outside environments under
<br /> sometimes adverse conditions.
<br /> Job Duties:
<br /> 1. Provides daily direction and coordination for the maintenance and operation of the
<br /> transportation system, parks, cemeteries, � city buildings, and water/wastewater
<br /> systems.
<br /> A. Coordinates the procurement of�e�materials, equipment, and services.
<br /> B. Establishes work priorities and schedules improvements for�e�employees.
<br /> C. Takes prompt action in directing emergency repairs.
<br /> D. Coordinates snow and ice control activities, �����•��ate� �nu�� rc�n����l f�r�il ic,°
