Rasmussen Road Study Update <br /> Tim Houle stated he will be getting in touch with the committee members <br /> and they will convene to continue discussions about the improvements on <br /> Rasmussen Road. Mr. Houle added there are multiple types of users on <br /> Rasmussen Road which will make for a challenging study. <br /> Council Member Pederson inquired if there will be a safety study done. <br /> Mr. Houle stated that will be part of the discussion. <br /> Council Member Swanson suggested inviting Rasmussen Road residents <br /> to the discussions. Mr. Houle indicated that the study is to get a concept <br /> out there for people to start to visualize some things first and then they will <br /> ask for input from the residents. <br /> 9.5. Park Commission Appointment <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO RECOMMEND THE APPOINTMENT OF <br /> STEVE MELBY TO THE PARK COMMISSION WITH A TERM <br /> EXPIRATION OF DECEMBER 31, 2019. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SWANSON SECONDED THE MpTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10. Administration <br /> The following items were received by Council. <br /> • July 12, 2018 draft Park Commission minutes <br /> • July 17, 2018 draft EDC minutes <br /> • July 17, 2018 HRA minutes <br /> 10.1A Heart of the Good Life Development—Shovel Readv Certification <br /> Nancy Malecha stated the Economic Development Commission is <br /> unanimously recommending the Council proceed with the Shovel Ready <br /> Certification process for the 85 acre Heart of the Good Life Development. <br /> Ms. Malecha presented the proposal from Widseth Smith Nolting with a <br /> cost of$18,800 to be paid from the Business Park Fund. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO ACCEPT THE <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROPOSAL FROM WIDSETH SMITH <br /> NOLTING IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,800 FOR THE SHOVEL READY <br /> CERTIFICATION PROCESS FOR THE HEART OF THE GOOD LIFE <br /> DEVELOPMENT TO BE PAID FROM THE BUSINESS PARK FUND. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br />
