City Council Minutes <br /> June 5, 2018 <br /> Page8of12 <br /> ----------------------------- <br /> Tim Houle stated the earthwork is mostly complete and the building <br /> construction has been started. <br /> B. Payment Certificate#1 <br /> Tim Houle presented the first two payment requests from Boser <br /> Construction and explained the first payment certificate request was not <br /> received in time for the May City Council meeting. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE APPLICATION <br /> AND PAYMENT CERTIFICATE #1 FROM BOSER CONSTRUCTION <br /> INC. FOR AN AMOUNT OF $13,568.85. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON Mt1VED TO APPROVE APPLICATION <br /> AND PAYMENT CERTIFICATE#2 FROM BOSER CONSTRUCTION <br /> INC. FOR AN AMOUNT OF $62,105.30. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTIt?N. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.5 Road Specification Guidelines <br /> Tim Houle presented the road standards/specification guidelines that the <br /> Road Specifications Committee created. Mr. Houle stated the information <br /> is to be used as guidelines rather than policies. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE ROAD <br /> STANDARDS/SPECIFICATION GUIDELINES AS PRESENTED BY THE <br /> CITY ROAD SPECiFICATIONS COMMITTEE AND NULLIFYING ANY <br /> PRIOR ROAD SPECIFICATION POLICIES OF THE CITY. MAYOR <br /> ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Council Member Akerson questioned if these guidelines would be used for <br /> any roads that the Ci�y would be asked to take over. Mr. Houle explained <br /> the guidelines will be used for any new road acquisitions, any <br /> reconstructed roads, and any newly constructed roads. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.6 Rasmussen Road Studv Uqdate <br /> Tim Houle explained that the Rasmussen Road Committee will be <br /> reconvening this month to finish the study to provide a master plan layout <br /> with some figures and estimated costs for the budget. Mr. Houle added <br /> they do not anticipate construction of Rasmussen Road this year. <br />
