Economic Development Section: <br /> Mr. Burslie read the policies. The EDC submitted comments on this section also. <br /> "Employ people"should be removed from the Action Item adjusting the zoning code. <br /> Remove the Action Item referring to submittal requirements for subdivisions in the <br /> Business Park;this has already been completed. <br /> Bittner e�lained the Action Item regarding an availability charge. This refers to <br /> undeveloped property along municipal water and wastewater. The thought was to <br /> entice development rather than leaving vacant. It was suggested the City could offer an <br /> incentive to develop. It was the consensus of the Planning Commission to remove it. <br /> Chair Hallan urged the Planning Commission to submit their comments to staff within <br /> the next two weeks. <br /> Review revisions to Transportation and Infrastructure Sections <br /> Bittner asked the Planning Commission to review these revised sections and to send her <br /> their comments. Our plan is to provide the revised Plan on the website. <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Leckband, seconded <br /> by Planning Commission Member Birch, to open the Public Hearings. All <br /> members voted"aye". Motion carried. Applicant was present. When asked, Mr. Burslie <br /> stated the structure on Tract B could be replaced, exactly the same size. It could not be <br /> expanded. <br /> Mr. Burslie stated the practical difficulty is the distance between the two buildings. <br /> Planning Commission Member Leckband asked if the Fire Chief had been contacted. <br /> Mr. Burslie stated we had not as the buildings are existing.
