Chair Hallan stated a decision on the Matrix needs to be made. When asked what <br /> additional information would be included in a CUP, Mr. Burslie recommended <br /> permitted as the regulations are quite detailed. Conditional Use Permits are for <br /> businesses that have a lot of deliveries or if screening is required-things that would <br /> have an impact on a neighborhood. He doesn't see any potential conditions that could <br /> be placed through a CUP. <br /> Chair Ha11an pointed out if there were several zoning classifications where the billboards <br /> could be placed,there could be a lot more variables. The locations are attached to the <br /> 37�corridor. <br /> Steve Anderson stated that generally comments through a CUP are from residential <br /> areas and with the 50o foot spacing that is responsible. <br /> Zoning Specialist Bittner apologized for the marked-up copy of the amendment. She <br /> suggested continuing this public hearing to May 3i to review a clean copy with the <br /> changes suggested tonight. Chair Hallan suggested the City Attorney also review the <br /> changes. <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Wilson, seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member Leckband,to accept the changes outlined in <br /> tonight's discussion, All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: <br /> Chair Hallan added Wilderness Point and Zoning Map under New Business. <br /> OPEN FORiTM: None. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> a. Metes and Bounds Subdivision <br /> Kevin and Gretchen Wittwer, applicants <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the Staff Report. Applicants were present. <br /> Chair Hallan inquired if Tract B could be split again. Mr. Burslie stated it could be split <br /> once as it is 11.4 acres and the minimum lot size in the Rural Residential zone is 5 acres. <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Leckband, seconded <br /> by Planning Commission Member Wallin,to approve the Metes and Bounds <br /> Subdivision,based on the following Findings of Fact: <br /> MINUTES 5 <br /> Pequot Lakes Planning Commission <br /> May 17, 2018 <br />
