4. On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor Licenses. May be issued to the following <br /> establishments as defined by Minnesota Statute� § 340A.101, as it may be amended from <br /> time to time,and this Chapter:hotels,restaurants,bowling centers,clubs or congressionally <br /> chartered veterans organizations, and exclusive liquor stores. Club licenses may be issued <br /> only with the approval of the Commissioner of Public Safety. The fee for club licenses <br /> established by the Council under this Chapter shall not exceed the amounts provided for in <br /> '�-1ir�it�a,,�t�i ';i�[��t�.�� �� 340A.���ie �,<<I��i �1��1 4�, �„�.a n�t.�� „� �t,o �,r:,,,,o�,.+„ <br /> �e, as it may be amended from time to time. The Council may in its' sound discretion <br /> authorize a retail on-sale licensee to dispense intoxicating liquor off the licensed premises <br /> at any convention,banquet, conference,meeting or social affair conducted on the premises <br /> of a sports, convention, or cultural facility owned by the City, under the provisions of <br /> Minnesota Statute� § 340A.404, subd. 4(a), ^�*'��"���-����*� c*�*��*�as it may be amended <br /> from time to time. <br /> A. Temporary Expansion of Premises License. The City may authorize on- <br /> sale intoxicating liquor licensees to make sales off the license holder premises <br /> through the issuance of a temporary expansion of premises license. The City <br /> Council may allow for the issuance of a temporary expansion of premises license <br /> ("Temporary Expansion License")to a licensee with a valid and pre-existing on- <br /> sale intoxicating liquor license. The premises may only be expanded to an area <br /> that is compact and contiguous to the permanently licensed premises ("Expanded <br /> Premises"). The Temporary Expansion License may be obtained for a period of <br /> one to four days, in connection with a social event sponsored by the licensee and <br /> within the boundaries of the City of Pequot Lakes. The license fee shall be <br /> established by resolution of the City Council. The Temporary Expansion License <br /> shall be subject to requirements set forth by Minnesota Statute 340A and by the <br /> following requirements: <br /> (1). Application for a Temporarv Expansion of Premises License. The <br /> licensee shall provide the following information on forms provided <br /> by the City Clerk. <br /> a. The name and addresses of the on-sale license holder and if <br /> the holder is a company, the name and addresses of its <br /> owners, officers or partners. <br /> b. A specific description and diagram of the area in which the <br /> temporary expansion activity is to occur. This area must be <br /> compact and contiguous to the permanently licensed <br /> premises, and be surrounded by physical enclosure devices. <br /> The diagram should indicate how the area will be <br /> physically enclosed, and show the location of tables, chairs, <br /> food and beverage stations, and any other important <br /> features. <br /> c. The purpose for which the temporary expansion is sought, <br /> and a description of the planned activities including <br /> projected attendance, entertainment including any <br /> Pequot Lakes City Code 7 <br />
