(3). Police Protection. If required by the City Council, the applicant shall provide, at the <br />applicant's expense, policing of the licensed premises by security personnel approved <br />by the Police Chief. <br />(4). Hours of Sale and Consumption. In addition to the provisions of this Chapter, the <br />City Council may further restrict the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages <br />pursuant to a Temporary Expansion License to certain hours. <br />(5). Identification. The applicant shall require proof of legal age to consume at the time <br />of sale of an alcoholic beverage. Furthermore, the City Council may require each <br />person to whom a sale is made to wear a wrist band or an identification stamp on the <br />person's hand to identify that the person is of legal age to consume alcoholic <br />beverages. <br />(6). Proof of Insurance. The applicant shall file proof that the liability insurance required <br />by this Code and by Minnesota Statutes Chapter 340A apply to the Expanded <br />Premises. <br />(7). Amplified Music. All speakers used to amplify music, or any other activity, are to be <br />set up at ground level. Any deviation from ground level amplification must have prior <br />approval by the City Council as part of the application process. <br />(8). Decibel Level. Outdoor events associated with the Expanded Premises shall not <br />exceed a decibel level of sixty -five decibels at a distance of 100 feet from the event <br />site. In the event the maximum decibel level is exceeded, the Temporary Expansion <br />`- License may be revoked and the licensee shall immediately discontinue the event. <br />(9). Food Vendors. If food is served at the event and it is not prepared by the <br />permanently licensed premises, all food vendors participating in the event must be <br />properly licensed and abide by all Minnesota Department of Health regulations. <br />(10). Tents. If the event or a portion of the event will be held under a tent, the licensee <br />shall provide plans showing the proposed location of the tent, tent layout, number and <br />size of exits and fire prevention measures. The tent shall be in compliance with the <br />International Fire Code and shall be subject to inspection by the Pequot Lakes Fire <br />Department. <br />(11). Other Requirements. The City Council also may impose other requirements as it <br />deems necessary to promote public safety. <br />
