City of <br />Peq ot <br />I%-, Lakes— <br />CHAPTER 9 - PEQUOT LAKES CITY CODE <br />LICENSE AND BUSINESS REGULATIONS <br />Section 9 -4.8. KINDS OF LIQUOR LICENSES <br />A. Temporary Expansion of Premises License. The City may authorize on -sale intoxicating <br />liquor licensees to make sales off the license holder premises through the issuance of a <br />temporary expansion of premises license. The City Council may allow for the issuance of a <br />temporary expansion of premises license ( "Temporary Expansion License ") to a licensee with <br />a valid and pre- existing on -sale intoxicating liquor license. The premises may only be <br />expanded to an area that is compact and contiguous to the permanently licensed premises <br />( "Expanded Premises "). The Temporary Expansion License may be obtained for a period of <br />one to four days, in connection with a social event sponsored by the licensee and within the <br />boundaries of the City of Pequot Lakes. The license fee shall be as established by resolution <br />of the City Council. The Temporary Expansion License shall be subject to requirements set <br />forth by Minnesota Statute 340A and by the following requirements: <br />(1). Application for a Temporary Expansion of Premises License. The licensee shall <br />provide the following information on forms provided by the City Clerk. <br />a. The name and addresses of the on -sale license holder and if the holder is a <br />company, the name and addresses its owners, officers or partners. <br />b. A specific description and diagram of the area in which the temporary <br />expansion activity is to occur. This area must be compact and contiguous to <br />the permanently licensed premises, and be surrounded by physical enclosure <br />devices. The diagram should indicate how the area will be physically <br />enclosed, and show the location of tables, chairs, food and beverage stations, <br />and any other important features. <br />C. The purpose for which the temporary expansion is sought, and a description of <br />the planned activities including projected attendance, entertainment including <br />any amplified music, food and beverage service, security plans, parking, and <br />hours of operation. <br />d. Such other information as the City Council may deem necessary. <br />(2). Sales and Consumption. No sales or consumption of alcoholic beverages shall be <br />permitted beyond the Expanded Premises. <br />
