Following is the proposed procedure to enforce lawn mowin�: <br /> • Publish notice in newspaper annually in the spring detailin�code langua�e <br /> that lawns must be mowed. (Press Release attached) <br /> • Mail letter to properry owner stating lawn must be mowed within �o days <br /> and kept mowed for the season. If not mowed within io days, <br /> Administrative Citation will be issued and City will have contractor mow <br /> the lawn and assess costs to taxes. (Lawn Letter attached) <br /> • If lawn continues to not be mowed, City will issue an Administrative <br /> Citation; $ioo/day until abated or $2,00o annually. City will have <br /> contractor mow lawn and assess costs to ta�ces. <br /> Applicable Regulations: Chapter �, Article i, Enforcement of Administrative <br /> Offenses and Issuance of Penalties related to these Offenses, regulates <br /> Administrative Citations. <br /> Planning Commission Direction: Please come prepared to offer input on <br /> the above proposed policy. The Planning Commission should make a <br /> recommendation to the City Council.
