Council Member Pederson referenced a League of MN Cities manual on compensation and stated he does not have enough information to warrant moving forward with this study. Council Member Swanson inquired what the next step would be after the study is completed. Ms. Malecha explained the results of the study would be presented to the City Council and if changes are suggested, a phased in approach would be recommended. ' COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO TABLE THE CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY UNTIL THE APRIL CITY COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION FAILED 2-3. MAYOR ADAMS AND COUNCIL MEMBERS LOUKOTA AND SWANSON OPPOSED. THE ORIGINAL MOTION CARRIED 3-2. COUNCIL MEMBERS PEDERSON AND AKERSON OPPOSED. 10.2 Copv Machine Lease Nancy Malecha explained the current copy machine lease will expire this month and after researching other copy machines she is requesting the Council's authorization to enter into a five year lease agreement with Marco for a Konica Bizhub C368 at $133.22 per month plus the cost of copies. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A FIVE YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT WITH MARCO TO LEASE A KONICA BIZHUB C368 COPY MACHINE FOR$133.22 PER MONTH PLUS THE COST OF COPIES. COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 11. Other Business Mayor Adams informed the Council that Crow Wing County is seeking input on a proposed ordinance revision to allow the use of all-terrain vehicles on County road rights-of-way. Council Member Pederson requested changing the July City Counci! Meeting date due to the Independence Day holiday.
