CSAH 17 Imqrovements Resolution <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 18- <br /> 08 APPROVING THE CSAH 17 PROJECT WITHIN MUNICIPAL <br /> CORPORATE LIMITS. COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.4. Request for Temporarv Hire <br /> Nancy Malecha explained the need for a temporary, as needed, <br /> maintenance worker to assist with snowplowing during the 2017-2018 <br /> season. Ms. Malecha noted that Bill Rickard has graciously offered to <br /> assist the Public Works Department as he has done in the past. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO HIRE BILL RICKARD AS <br /> A TEMPORARY MAINTENANCE WORKER TO ASSIST THE PUBLIC <br /> WORKS DEPARTMENT, AS NEEDED, DURING THE 2017-2018 <br /> SNOWPLOWING SEASON AT AN HOURLY RATE OF $19.14 WITH NO <br /> BENEFIT PACKAGE. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. <br /> Council Member Pederson requested clarification that this temporary <br /> position would only be for snowplowing duties and would not be working <br /> excessive hours. Ms. Malecha explained that this position is for as <br /> needed snowplowing duties and should not exceed 8 hours per day <br /> unless the weather conditions warrant otherwise. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.
