Proposal for the Peauot Fire and Police Departments to use the Childrens Room <br />0q <br />• Pequot lakes Fire and Police Department would like the final approval to turn the old <br />Childrens room into an exercise room. <br />• Upon thorough investigation of 6 gyms in the local area the space and size of the <br />Childrens Room is adequate for the use of a city gym. No special exhaust or ventilation <br />is needed in any commercial or residential gym, therefore this room is already ready. <br />• Police and Fire personal received approval from their city departments along with <br />Nancy Adams, Nancy Malecha , Mike loven, Tom Ryan, and Sandy Peine. <br />An agreement was made with a couple of stipulations. <br />➢ We would have use of the room for the first year and then in <br />April /May of 2011, we would evaluate the room and any issues or <br />future plans. <br />o Concerns or Issues: Noise, Smell, Adequate Space, Storage <br />for files, Construction of a lunchroom <br />➢ We would have a log sheet in the room to monitor the use of the <br />facility and the demand for the space needed. <br />• Only Minor changes are needed to designate the exercise room. Through donations, <br />the Police and Fire Departments we plan to purchase the equipment. <br />Changes Needed: <br />➢ Paint the walls <br />➢ Keypad installed on the fire wall, to enter or exit the area outside of <br />the exercise room <br />➢ Evaluate the air flow and air conditioning concerns to the exercise <br />room to determine if proper equipment needs to be installed. <br />S... <br />
