MOTION CARRIED 3 -0. <br />10. City Engineer <br />Tim Houle gave an update on the West Lake Street project. He noted that <br />there are some issues concerning easements on West Lake Street that <br />will require the City Attorney to clear up. He indicated that he would try to <br />get an estimate on attorney fees to clear this up. <br />Council Member Ryan questioned if anyone has contacted the School <br />District regarding the possibility of vacating Olson Street. The Engineer <br />indicated that the School has not been contacted regarding the.project. <br />The Engineer indicated that the City could pursue the idea. <br />11. City Clerk's Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />11.1. Consider Applications for Wine and Beer Licenses <br />The Clerk explained that the applicant is requesting applications for on- <br />sale wine, 3.2% malt liquor and strong beer for a restaurant at the Jack <br />Pine Center. She stated that the restaurant's name is the Tiki Room. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPROVE AN ON -SALE WINE LICENSE, <br />3.2% MALT LIQUOR LICENSE, AND STRONG BEER LICENSE AS <br />REQUESTED BY HAWKEYES, INC. FOR THE TIKI ROOM. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3 -0 <br />11.2. Request for Tobacco and 3.2% Malt Liquor Lilcenses by Peguot Lakes <br />SuperValu <br />The Clerk explained that S &R Quisberg, Inc. has made application for a <br />tobacco license and a 3.2% off -sale malt liquor license for the new <br />SuperValu store. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO APPROVE A TOBACCO <br />LICENSE AND A 3.2% OFF -SALE MALT LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE <br />SUPERVALU STORE. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3 -0. <br />11.3. Request for Tobacco License by Tammy Johnson <br />
