ITCH IGAM <br />REGIONAL LIBRARY <br />Kitchigami Regional Library System <br />Service Contract: Crosslake and Pecluot Lakes <br />1. Parties to Agreement: This agreement is between Kitchigami Regional Library System as <br />service provider and the City of Crosslake and the City of Pequot Lakes on behalf of their <br />respective community libraries. <br />2. Purpose of Agreement: This agreement defines the services to be provided by Kitchigami <br />Regional Library System to the community libraries of Crosslake and Pequot Lakes and the <br />responsibilities of these community libraries. <br />3. Term of Agreement: This agreement will be in place from date of signing through 31 <br />December 2011. If any party wishes to terminate the agreement before that date, six months <br />written notice must be delivered to all parties by certified mail. <br />4. Scope of Services: Kitchigami Regional Library will provide the following services, beginning <br />1 March 2010: <br />1. Facilitated borrower registration for Crosslake and Pequot Lakes residents <br />2. Interlibrary loan borrowing to Crosslake and Pequot Lakes library users through those <br />community libraries through establishment of those libraries as pickup locations <br />3. Delivery services of library materials to and from the Crosslake and Pequot Lakes <br />libraries 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). Deliveries may be <br />interrupted by federal holidays or severe weather conditions; substitute delivery dates <br />are not guaranteed. <br />4. Information on and access to regional /statewide training opportunities <br />5. Training materials and training of a local trainer selected by each of the Crosslake and <br />Pequot Lakes libraries on interlibrary loans support, borrower registration and delivery <br />support. One training session on each of borrower registration, interlibrary loans and <br />delivery, acquisitions and electronic services will be provided within the contract. <br />Training will begin in the month of February 2010. <br />
