CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES RESOLUTION 17-34 <br /> � FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS AND ORDER <br /> OF PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL REGARDING ALLEGED <br /> CODE VIOLATIONS AND NUISANCE CONDITIONS AT PID 290223405BA0009 <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Pequot Lakes City Code ("City Code") Section 7-2.6,notice of ' <br /> the hearing before the City Council ("City Council") of the City of Pequot Lakes Minnesota <br /> ("City"),to consider the alleged code violations and nuisance conditions on real property located � <br /> on County Road 168 (Crow Wing County Parcel I.D.No.: 290223405BA0009)in the City(the <br /> "Property"), was duly given to Carter D. McAninch,property owners of record of the Property, <br /> by personal service on September 15, 2017,by certified mail; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant City Code Section 7-2.6, a public hearing was held on October 3, <br /> 2017,before the City Council to consider the alleged code violations and nuisance conditions <br /> present on the Property, and a list of those individuals testifying at the public hearing is attached ' <br /> hereto as Exhibit A. I <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the Pequot Lakes City Council,based upon the record and <br /> evidence presented at said hearing,makes the following: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> � 1. That Carter D. McAninch is the owner of record of the Property, according to Crow '� <br /> Wing County's records as attached hereto as E�iibit B. <br /> 2. That the property owners of record received written notice of the alleged code <br /> violations and nuisance conditions and of the October 3,2017 public hearing thereon, <br /> as shown in the correspondence attached hereto as Exliibit C. <br /> 3. T'hat there is no principle structure on the Property, as that term is defined in City <br /> Code Section 17-3.2 (184). <br /> 4. T'hat junk, construction materials, furniture, abandoned vehicles and other debris have I <br /> been allowed to accumulate and are currently present in plain view on the premises of I <br /> the Property. I <br /> 5. That a recreational vehicle is located on the Property within ten feet of the Property's I <br /> lot line. <br /> 6. That two sheds are located on the Property that have been poorly maintained, one of <br /> which has deteriorated to the point that it appears to be collapsing. <br /> 7. T'hat the accumulation of such garbage,junk, construction materials,brush/branches, <br /> fiuniture,tires,trailers and other debris on the premises of the Properiy is in violation <br /> � <br />
