b. 7-2.4. Public Nuisance AfFecting Peace and Safety. (Blighted conditions <br /> � "which are likely to cause injury to the person or property of anyone"); <br /> c. 17-7.4 Maintenance. (Property is not"maintained in a clean and acceptable <br /> manner"); <br /> d. 17-7.5 (1)(B) Storage. (Propane tank is inoperative and not"stored within a <br /> building or fully screened so as not to be visible from adjoining properties"); <br /> e. 17-7.5 (2) Bulk Storage. ("All uses associated with the bulk storage of. . . <br /> liquid propane . . . shall comply with the requirements of the Minnesota.State <br /> Fire Marshall,the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and Minnesota <br /> Department of Agriculture"); and <br /> f. 17-7.6 Visual Screening. (Property has a strong negative visual impact and <br /> has received numerous and continuous complaints). <br /> 6. That photographs documenting the deterioration of the dwelling, attached gara.ge and <br /> accessory structure in plain view on the premises of the Property are attached hereto <br /> as E�ibit D. <br /> 7. That the deterioration of the dwelling, attached garage and accessory shucture and <br /> presence of an inoperative propane tank in plain view on the premises of the Property <br /> '�,` is to such an extent and in such location as to unreasonably annoy, injure, or endanger <br /> the safety,health,morals, comfort, or repose of the public. <br /> 8. That the deterioration of the dwelling, attached garage and accessory structure and <br /> presence of an inoperative propane tank in plain view on the premises of the Property <br /> is to such an extent and in such location as to be indecent or offensive to the senses, <br /> and an obstruction of the free use of property, so as to interfere with the comforta,ble <br /> enjoyment of life or property of the public. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the Pequot Lakes City Council makes the following: <br /> CONCLUSIONS AND ORDER <br /> A. T'hat the deterioration of the dwelling, attached garage and accessory structure and presence <br /> of an inoperative propane tank in plain view on the premises of the Properly constitutes a <br /> public nuisance. <br /> And <br /> B. That the property owner shall have until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday,August 15, 2017 to fully <br /> remedy the nuisance conditions and code violations existing on the Property, including <br /> completing the specific corrective actions listed on E�cliibit E atta.ched hereto and <br /> � incorporated herein by reference. <br /> 2 <br />
