ORDINANCE NO. i�-o9, SECOND SERIES <br /> ��, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING HINDS OF LIQUOR LICENSES <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUN1'Y OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter <br /> 9 of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to Kinds of Liquor Licenses. <br /> Amendment: Chapter 9,Article 4.8 shall be amended as follows: <br /> i. 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor On-Sale Licenses. May be issued only to restaurants, <br /> hotels, clubs,bowling centers and establishments used exclusively for the sale of <br /> 3.2 percent malt liquor with the incidental sale of tobacco and soft drinks. <br /> 2. 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor Off-Sale License. <br /> 3. Tem�orary�.2 Percent Malt Liquor Licenses. May be issued only to a club, <br /> � charitable, religious or nonprofit organization. <br /> � <br /> 4. On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor Licenses. May be issued to the following <br /> establishments as defined by Minnesota Statute §34oA.io1, as it may be amended <br /> from time to time, and this Chapter: hotels, restaurants,bowling centers, clubs or <br /> congressionally chartered veterans organizations,and exclusive liquor stores.Club <br /> licenses may be issued only with the approval of the Commissioner of Public Safety. <br /> The fee for club licenses established by the Council under this Chapter shall not <br /> exceed the amounts provided for in Chapter 34oA.4o4, subd. 4(b), of the <br /> Minnesota Statute, as it may be amended from time to time. The Council may in <br /> its' sound discretion authorize a retail on-sale licensee to dispense intoxicating <br /> liquor off the licensed premises at any convention, banquet, conference, meeting <br /> or social affair conducted on the premises of a sports, convention, or cultural <br /> facility owned by the City, under the provisions of Minnesota Statute §34oA.4o4, <br /> subd. 4(a), of the Minnesota Statute as it may be amended from time to time. <br /> A. Temporary Expansion of Premises License. The City may authorize <br /> on-sale intoxicating liquor licensees to make sales off the license <br /> holder premises through the issuance of a temporary expansion of <br /> premises license. The City Council may allow for the issuance of a <br /> temporary expansion of premises license ("Temporary Expansion <br /> License")to a licensee with a valid and pre-existing on-sale <br /> intoxicating liquor license. The premises may only be e�anded to <br /> `.., an area that is compact and contiguous to the permanently licensed <br />
