If any of these flood�lain <br /> �,,,, area are annexed into the City after the date of adoption of this <br /> ordinance, the newly annexed floodpolain lands will be subject to <br /> the provisions of this ordinance immediately u�on the date of <br /> annexation. <br /> 3.o Establishment of Floodplain District <br /> 3.i Areas Included: The Floodplain District for the Ci , of Pec�uot <br /> Lakes includes those areas designated as Zone A on the Flood <br /> Insurance Rate Maps adopted in Section 2.2. The Flood�lain <br /> District is an overlay district to all existing land use districts. The <br /> rec�uirements of this ordinance ap�lv in addition to other le a�11X <br /> established regulations of the communitv. Where this ordinance <br /> im�oses greater restrictions,the�rovisions of this ordinance a�plv. <br /> 3.2 Compliance: No new structure or land shall hereafter be used and <br /> no structure shall be constructed located extended converted or <br /> structurallv altered without full com�liance with the terms of this <br /> ordinance and other a�plicable regulations. Within the Floodplain <br /> District, all uses not listed as�ermitted uses in Section 4.o are <br /> prohibited. <br /> � <br /> 4.o Permitted Uses and Standards in the Floodplain District <br /> 4.i Permitted Uses: The followin�uses are permitted within the <br /> Floodplain District without a permit provided that they are allowed <br /> in anv underlying zonin� district and not prohibited by any other <br /> ordinance; and provided that they do not rec�uire structure, fill <br /> obstructions, excavations, drilling operations, storage or materials <br /> or equipment or any other form of development as defined in <br /> Section 2.�12 of this ordinance. If the use does rec�uire fill, <br /> obstruction, excavation, storage or materials or any other form of <br /> development as defined in Section 2.�12 of this ordinance a�ermit <br /> and compliance with Section 4.2 of this ordinance is rec�uired. The <br /> ep rmit rec�uirement may be waived if there is an ap�lication for a <br /> public waters work�ermit from the De�artment of Natural <br /> Resources. <br /> 4.ii Agricultural uses such as�eneral farming, �asture, �razing, <br /> forestry, sod farming, and wild crop harvesting.
