All other ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance are <br /> herebY re�ealed to the extent of the inconsistencv onl� <br /> 2.5 Warning and Disclaimer of Liability: This ordinance does not im�lv <br /> that areas outside the flood�lain districts or land uses permitted <br /> within such districts will be free from flooding or flood damages. <br /> This ordinance does not create liability on the�art of the Cit� <br /> Pequot Lakes or any officer or emplovee thereof for an,y flood <br /> damages that result from reliance on this ordinance or anX <br /> administrative decision lawfully made hereunder. <br /> 2.6 Severabili . .�• If any section, clause,�rovision, or portion of this <br /> ordinance is adjud�ed unconstitutional or invalid by a court of law, <br /> the remainder of this ordinance shall not be affected and shall <br /> remain in full force. <br /> 2.� Definitions: Unless specifically defined below�words or phrases <br /> used in this ordinance must be interpreted so as to$ive them the <br /> � same meaning as thev have in common usa�e and so as to �ive this <br /> ordinance its most reasonable a�plication. <br /> 2.�ii Base Flood — the flood having a one�ercent chance of bein� <br /> eQualed or exceeded in an iven.year. <br /> 2.��2 Base Flood Elevation — the elevation of the "regional flood," <br /> as defined. The term "base flood elevation" is used in the flood <br /> insurance survev. <br /> 2.�i3 Develo�ment — any man-made change to im�roved or <br /> unimproved real estate includin�, but not limited to, buildin�s, <br /> manufactured homes and other structures recreational vehicles <br /> minin ,g dredging, filling, grading, paving, excavation, drillin� <br /> operations,or storage of materials or ec�uipment. <br /> 2.�i4 Farm Fence — a fence as defined by Minn. Statute 344.02 <br /> Subd. 1 (a) — (d). An o�en ty�e fence of posts and wire is not <br /> considered to be a structure under this ordinance.
