City Council Minutes <br /> November 7, 2017 <br /> Page 6 of 9 <br /> ----------------------------- <br /> Tim Houle explained the bidding process for the maintenance facility and <br /> the fabric arch structure and inquired whether the City will require two <br /> quotes for the salt storage shed. <br /> The consensus of the Council agreed to not waive the two quote <br /> requirement for purchases over$25,000 but under$100,000 and <br /> confirmed the City needs to get finro quotes for the construction of the <br /> fabric arch structure with one of which being from the State Cooperative <br /> Purchasing Venture. <br /> 9.5. Temporarv Skate Park <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO REMOVE ITEM 9.5 TEMPORARY SKATE <br /> PARK FROM THE AGENDA. COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.6. Trailside Park Improvement Proiect Uodate <br /> Mayor Adams informed the Council of the Trailside Park Open House on <br /> November 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Ciiy Hall and also noted <br /> the project schedule change for the Trailside Park Improvement Project. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE REVISED <br /> TRAILSIDE PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT SCHEDULE. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5-0. <br /> 9.7. Bobber Communitv Identifier Sipns <br /> Mayor Adams requested the Council consider adding the words "Pequot <br /> Lakes" to the back of the two metal bobber signs located along the <br /> Highway 371 expressway. <br /> Council discussion ensued on the need, cost, visibility, and lighting of this <br /> addition to the signs. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO ADD "PEQUOT LAKES" TO THE BACK <br /> OF THE TWO METAL BOBBER SIGNS ALONG THE HIGHWAY 371 <br /> EXPRESSWAY. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. ON A ROLL CALL VOTE, COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON — <br /> NAY; COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA— NAY; COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> PEDERSON — NAY, COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON — NAY; MAYOR <br /> ADAMS —AYE. MOTION FAILED 4-1 <br />
