City of Pequot Lakes
December 22, 2009
possible funding assistance.
• Capital Improvements Plan (CIP)
While usually the costliest single item a Council deals with, infrastructure is an investment that
provides long -tenn benefits for the community. Cities that tend to be the "healthiest" are those that
understand that infrastructure is the backbone to a thriving City.
One example of working with the City is to point various upcoming sign reflectivity requirements
that Cities will need to meet. An item like this can be incorporated into the City's CIP and either
City staff= or our personnel can address this.
We have been, and will continue to be available to assist the City as it continues forward with
planned, systematic, and financially prudent improvements to the City's infrastructure.
In addition to the engineering services we provide to the City, we offer land surveying, architecture, and
environmental services. Please don't hesitate to call one of us should you have the need for these
professional services.
It has been a pleasure working with the City of Pequot Lakes. If you would like to meet with us on our
services, we would welcome that. Otherwise, we look forward to continuing our past working relationship
and of being of service to you in 2010.
Sincerely,
WIDSETH SMITH NOLTING & ASSOCIATES, INC.
Timothy M.
