Operations and Maintenance:
• The monthly MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report was completed and submitted as
required.
• Dec. P, Lance and I flushed several problem -area, low -flow manholes with tanker.
• Dec. 8t', attended MN Wastewater Operators Association (MWOA) meeting at St.
Cloud Technical College.
• Nov. 30a', Lance hooked up new grinder -pump electrical connections and we got the
pump back online. However, Dec. 9t', the alarm light was on again. The grinder -pump
had quit working so I shut the power off to it.
• Dec. 14`h, Kurt and I pulled the grinder -pump and trouble - shooted. While pump was out
of the pit, I turned the power on to see if it would do anything, and it didn't. Kurt tried
turning impeller by hand (after shutting power off) and it turned really hard. We
removed impeller /cutter blade and found nothing stuck in pump. We put it back
together and the impeller turned easier, but when we put it back in the pump pit, it
doesn't work. Called Northern Water Works (formerly known as Davies Water Works)
and they will be sending someone out to service the pump for us.
Report Submitted By: Tina Nolden (Water/Wastewater Operator)
Please call me if you have any questions /comments.
218 -568 -5604 or 218 - 820 -2125
