ABSENT: Nathan Norton <br /> CITY PLANNER: Justin Burslie <br /> ZONING SPECIALIST: Dawn Bittner <br /> COUNCL LIAISON: Absent <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chair EngeLs at 6:0o p.m. and opened the Public <br /> Hearing. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> APPLICANr: Wallace Schoeb <br /> Applicant requests to a.mend existing CUP to allow Rental and Storage of U- <br /> Haul Trucks and Tra�ers, <br /> Mr. Burslie explained.the Staff Report. Applicant was represented by Mark Schoeb. The <br /> car wash and car lot are located on PIN: 2g��oo20010009. The U-Haul trucks and <br /> trailers are parked on PIN: 291150o�oo1Aoo9. <br /> Mr. Burslie noted Compliance Inspections will need to be submitted for the two septic <br /> systems on the car wash lot as they have both expired. This should be added as a <br /> condition for this requirement. In addition, 50%screening should be required along the <br /> west property line and the north property line consisting of either fence or vegetation. <br /> When asked, Mr. Schoeb stated this spring there were appro�cimately i5 U-Haul trucks <br /> and�o trailers,the most in g�ears. <br /> Planning Commission Member Hallan asked for clarification that with this type of use, <br /> we are aslang that applicant not have more than 25% impervious coverage on a 32,000 <br /> square foot parcel. Grass will grow under a stored vehicle. Mr. Burslie explained any <br /> parking area is considered impervious. The Planning Commission should indicate a <br /> maximum number of units, maybe 25 vehicles. <br /> Mr. Schoeb stated that the number of vehicles on the lot in the future should be less as <br /> there are now more U-Haul dealers in the area.
