Jess will look
at what is available and report to the department.
Safety for our meeting tonight was about driving fire department vehicles. Always drive
safely to meet road conditions. When parking at scenes always be aware of power lines
and the possible collapse zone for any structures involved. Hazardous materials need to
be addressed. Parking at corners of building structures is the safest place to locate. Safety
vests are needed for parking at highway scenes and always use wheel chocks. Always
steer the wheels away from personnel when parking at any scene. Everyone should have
a safety vest. December P will be the 1& anniversary of one of the worst fire death
incidents in our country.
OR
