Police <br /> The August 2017 Police Department Report was received by Council. <br /> 8.1. City of Jenkins Law Enforcement Contract <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 17- <br /> 33 APPROVING THE 2018 LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTRACT AND <br /> JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE CfTY OF JENKINS IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $41,200. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUK4TA SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 8.2. Mallie Law Office Prosecution Apreement <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TU APPROVE THE 2018 <br /> PROSECUTION AGREEMENT WITH MALLIE LAW OFFICE IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $875 PER MONTH. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTtON CARRIED 40. <br /> 9. Public Works <br /> 9.1. Trailside Park Phase 1 Service Proposals <br /> Luke Sydow, via telephvne, explained the summary of services for the <br /> Trailside Park improvement project. Mr. Sydow noted that SAS+ <br /> Associates' pro#essional service fees will not exceed $97,235 and this <br /> includes the professional service fees for Studio North. They are working <br /> wi#h Widseth Smith Nolting to bring forward a full project for Phase 1 with <br /> a timeline for 2018 �onstruction. <br /> Mayor Adams noted her concems with the estimated cost of the project <br /> indicating that some amenities appear overpriced and would like a cap on <br /> the expenses incurred. Mr. Sydow explained that the costs are estimated <br /> on the high end to prevent estimating too low. <br /> Tim Houle stated that Widseth Smith Nolting does not have their normal <br /> agreement in the packet yet and explained they would put together an <br /> appropriate agreement with the Council for the design phase. <br /> Council Member Akerson stated that this project is moving too fast. <br />
